turn signal

I have a 1996 Chevy Corsica
when I put the turn signal down
to turn left, It remains down after
I've turned. I have to put back in the
neutral position  manually.

The turn signal lever returner is a plastic piece inside the steering wheel attached to the lever, when you return the wheel to the normal position it is pushed back along with the turns signal lever. It can brake after time, and stop working either right or left.
