why is my jaguar not responding to the keys i have ?

recently my jaguar has been been shutting off and not responding to the key i have ... i
switched to my second key and its been working but its harder to start the car and i have
to switch from key to key in oreder to star the car ... what is going on ?

The chip in the key has failed. Use the other key.
