92 5.7 buick roadmaster

Asked by Wesley Apr 07, 2016 at 06:16 PM about the 1992 Buick Roadmaster Limited Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having problems with my 5.7. It runs fine at
an idle but when you give it gas it misses and revs
slow with no power. I have changed the plugs,
wires, cap, and butten, but still has the same
problem.

May be a bad fuel pump, should check fuel pressure, change the fuel filter first. Fuel pressure should be 9 to 13 lbs. Also may have dirty or faulty injectors. Another cause could be the coil, you can have that tested at Auto Zone.
