are parts expensive to replace on a nissan versa?

i am looking for a good used car.   need to know about replacing parts.

Everything foreign will be more expensive than the big 3. As they used to say, the foreign cars are only cheap when you first buy them.

i found this statement on the net: "While the current Nissan product line is rich with variety, over half of those destined for the North American market are built right here in the United States, with manufacturing almost evenly split between the Tennessee and Mississippi locations. Given current sales figures, if you drive a new Nissan, chances are your car was like built right here in the heart of America."

That is just a way for them to avoid paying the import tariffs, the money still goes overseas. Buy Amercian born not just assembled in Amercia.

thank you tennisshoes! i really do not know what cars are american made...lol i love the toyota.....no problems and dependable. fords are nice but i have had allot of problems. love my 1992 ford truck, but the doors always get jammed. cannot open passenger side. spent lots of money on this problem.
