What can cause the wipers to stall the car?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i turn on my wipers with the car running, it stalls and
the wipers dont stop. But if i use the wipers without the car
running, they work ad the should and stop normally.

I'm going to say someone worked on the car before and screwed something up . Look for any obvious wiring problems , check for good motor to chassis ground
