I have a 2000 park avenue and I can't find the ac button

No button! it's climate control, you have a control (three in a roll) one for temp and one for fan and one for direction of air. these switches are up or down type, the one that says heat, push down and the digital readout will follow down when it gets below the actual temperature, your A/C will be on.
