Question type: Shopping & Pricing

This car has everything I could dream of but my parents think it is to costly at $14, 500 it had front end damage but repaired. It has TV' s in the back seats and automatic everything 2 moon roofs not happy I think this is a deal and a half. I am not sure if it is 3.0 i or 4.4 i and I do not know much about cars. My brother totaled my 2007 car and we got 8,000 dollars for it. I have some cash to throw into it but why would they not want me to get it?

well the sugested retail price is $16,963 in Excellent condition. But the private party price is anywhere between $15,113 and $13,113. maybe they dont want you to buy it for the damage it had before . Check the steering wheel make sure when the steering wheel is straight that the front tires are straight too.

First thing you should do is run an Autocheck or Carfax and make sure the car does not have a salvage title. If it was involved in a front-end collision where the airbags were deployed and the owner's insurance company totaled it, the title would have been converted to "rebuilt" or "salvage". If it IS rebuilt or salvage, it's not worth the money they want for it. Personally, I would not buy it at all with a salvage title. That stays with the vehicle for life and makes it hard to resell.
