First off there is no such car... You either have a Cavalier Z24 or a Camaro Z28.

Tha Maxima has a heavy advantage in power. 190hp and 205 ft lbs compared to the Cavalier's 150hp and 155 ft lbs. You get the advantage with a 2620 curb weight, the Maxima weighs in at 370 lbs more, definately not enough to make up for the power difference. But The fact that you are sporting a manual transmission helps drastically against the often problematic Nissan. It could go either way.
