Where is the break switch found on the 1989

my tail lights don't work i've checked the fuses, they are good, the bulbs are good, the only other thing i
know to do is change the break switch.

Missy, to answer your question, the brake switch is physically located behind the actual brake pedal under the dash. However, are you looking into the "brake lights"? Your posting mentioned "tail lights". Depending on which issue you are having will depend on what you should check next.
