Mercede SL 500 Doesn't start

Does it eventuality? If so its wiring. And its a 10cent piece of wire problem .took mine to a dozen people even dealer NO ONE had answer.i was gonna sell it and friend went to start it and nothing! Help him about 5 minutes to solve the problem and put a new wire in thank God for him I didn't sell it

I hate to say the obvious, but it's probably the starter.

Oops, I didn't get "nothing on the dash". Hmmm... Headlights, etc? Interior dome light? Wondering if it's electrical involving dash and starter, or ALL the electrical. You say "battery has charge", but does it have a full enough charge. I've been tricked by low voltage on the battery appearing to be ok. Also, does it make any noise at all, maybe one little click or absolutely no noise when trying to start?

Bad battery connection perhaps.
