Question type: Maintenance & Repair

SL320 while the leather was being repaired, the installer broke the seat
heater line, Does the metal base separate from the rest to access the wires
and repair?

those of interested here's how I did it, sit on the leather side and pull the leather cover from the track starting from the longest side. To access the electrical wire pull the felt like padding from the rear up and rewire. As long as you have the cover off, stretch the springs equally all around and reverse the process. Good luck
