I have replaced 5 powerstering units withing the past 2 years whats going on?

No doubt there is a underlying issue, they do not make them like they use too. I would go to Mercedes only shop explain the issue and have them check it real good and give you a cause why and warranty after they work on it and not just a 30-90 day warranty.
