I've even changed the throttle censor

1 Answer

1. Check the wiring harness running from the ignition module, by the alternator over to the fire wall, for "pinched" under the alternator. 2. If the harness is OK, then disconnect the 6 pin connector on the module and the Blue connector at the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). 3. Check the Purple/White wire on pin 8 at the PCM to pin E at the module for an open or short to ground. 4. If the wire is good, plug everything back in and then use a lab scope and back probe into the Purple/White wire at pin E of the module. Should be producing a 5 volt square wave with the engine running. If everything checks out fine, replace the ignition module.
