2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 check gauges light

Asked by Steve Mar 24, 2017 at 07:49 PM about the 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie Quad Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Intermittent check gauges light.  Oil pressure gauge drops to zero then
immediately bounces back.

Battery checks ok.  Grounds check ok.  Alternator check ok.  Oil sending unit
replaced.  No leaks.  One owner and 80K miles (been cared for).  Not yet due
for next full synthetic oil change.  Can't figure this out.  Please advise if you
have the time.  Thank you.
