My 97 dodge ram 4wd sport is shaking and there is a clicking noise. what is wrong?

Asked by Apr 19, 2013 at 10:05 AM about the 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 2 Dr Laramie SLT 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The truck mostly shakes in idle, pretty bad shake and it stops when I accelerate. The
ticking or clicking noise comes from under the driverside floor, and it's not constant.
