I have a 96 dodge ram 1500 that dies while driving,also has low rpms. What could be causing this ?

if you're battery and alternator are @ more than 12v sounds like a major emissions leak, my opinion may be supported if its not giving you the OEM mpg and forced induction (loss of hp) #bestwishes
