Air conditioner blows hot air, why?

I replaced alternator on 1996 Ram 1500 and now my A/C
blows hot air, can anyone tell me why?

Did you disconnect the wires going to the AC compressor? Is the serpentine belt still on the compressor?

Check the fuses then. Apparently you did something while working on the car.

I've checked fuses and the relay thier good but positive wire from alternator did arc on compressor when removing old alternator I was just told
