i have a 1994 Ram 1500 with a 5.2, i drive it then it shuts off, cranks, but no start, wait 2 minutes then it starts up and drives again, then repeats the same problem over and over.
1994 dodge Ram drives then shuts off, cranks but no start, wait 2 minutes it starts up and drives, that process repeats itself, replaced crank sensor, erg valve, IAC and still does it, any suggestions?
Hi what about the cam shaft position sensor....this is the hall effect in the distributor ...also check the distributor shaft for play some of those years had bad bushings in the block and would wear out the drive gear ...also check your fuel pump relay for power when cranking ...the other issues they had are the coil heat sinks ..the metal part that bolts to the bracket....they tend to rust up and expand acting as a wedge cracking the coil making it short out or causing the spark to be week and as it heats up expands shorts out and kills the engine
I will definitely look into those suggestions, thank you
Electronic pick up in distributor
