I have a 94 Dodge Ram 1500 46 RH transmission when you put it in drive it hesitates and then it gose in drive real hard
FIrst thing is check the fluid level and for trans fluid leaks. It can be low. Warn the truck up to operating temperature, in park, engine on, pull the dipstick, wipe and reinsert, and check. Let us know what you find.
I've done all that and change new oil and filter
When it does this you can start to feel the transmission engage and then it hesitates and engages real hard
Did it do it before and or after you changed the fluid and filter?
Before and after
It all started after I got stuck in the snow
What about the solenoid pack in the transmission pan? Dodge is very common for those
I don't understand what you're talking about
There's solenoids inside the transmission that go bad, you access them through the transmission oil pan. They can cause all of you symptoms.
What like the sensors for the pressure
Solenoids are part of the valve body. You need to know how to work on automatic transmissions, so best left to the experts. Find a reputable trans shop in your area to diagnose the issue.
I understand what the solenoids are I just wondered if you knew which one i mite start with
Are there any transmission codes coming up? That will tell you where to start
Code 37 for the transmission
It was throwing that code before the transmission ever messed up
Could a valve in the transmission valve body be causing this problem
Could a valve be stuck in the valve body because this problem
I found the problem myself thank you anyway
