Both rear brake lights

My brake lights on both sides went out bulbs seem
to be good 2002 chevy trailblazer LT 4wd .. could it
be the switch? If so where is that located thanks ...

James, check your fuses under the back seat, driver side. Likely that's all it is. Now if you were playing with putting LED bulbs back there, you 100% blew the fuses. Let me know if you were trying LED bulbs, it's a whole subject in itself with our GMT360 platform.

Thank you very much awesome help it was a bad brake switch and blown bulbs all is well now thank God for your valuable replies

My name is Joe I have a 2006 Trailblazer my 3rd brake works but no brake lights on either side work I found a broken wire on the right side I replaced the pigtail and still no brake light I also replaced both circuit boards brand new ones still no break right I have also checked the fuses

I'm having same problem Joe. replaced fuses , brake light switch, and boards and still only have 3rd break light although 1 reverse light is working on passenger side

Can any one assist me plz, when i indicate left the brack light on bood flash like an indicator, when i take out the indicator balp the park brack light stop flashing, is it like an safety thing, chevrolet trailblazer 2014

I just have one question i replaced my tird brake light and it doesn't turn on only the tail light what can it be

Fuse 34 I think under drivers rear seat.

Mark your answer was perfect. I had two brake lights out and knew the odds of it being the bulbs were slim. Read this post, replaced fuse 34, and got both brake lights working again as well as Cruise Control back.
