91 Ford XLT Lariat won't turn orver

So my truck won't start.  It just bought a 91 Ford
F250 and it seem to be running just fine until at
first the AC compressor went out and it's starting
to make a lot of noise and rattling coming from
that unit. Pulled over and stop for a minute shut
the truck off and went to go back to start it and it
almost try to start and then it wouldn't turn over at
all and acted like it froze up. Put a new battery in it
and that didn't help the problem I'm thinking it
might be the starter but running out of ideas?

More than likely your a/c compressor put the truck in safety mode. Since they started using ecu's in the early 1990's you might need to reset it. My 2001 Stratus had the same issue and I ended up replacing the compressor but the ecu needed the code cleared out.
