the vacum hose that goes to the power booster has come lose from behind the end of the engine near the fire wall can some one tell me where it goes and will this make the engine misfire
this is on a f 150 5.4 2006 ford truck I had a useless mechanic put cam phasers on and he left the vacum hose that goes to the power booster off from behind the engine now I have a big misfire and no power breaks
It will cause problems if it not connected. Look around the firewall to see if you find where it connects, if you can't then take it back to the useless mechanic and demand he fix it correctly.
it just connects to a line behind the intake. there is a recall in where you replace that hose the new one has clamps on it, the old one did not. give a dealer your vin see it has the recall.
