Need to change a alternator in a 2003 f-150

The change is straight forward and the alternator easy to get to. Loosen the belt and remove the bolts that hold the alternator and unplug the wires going to it. Installation is the reverse.

First determine if the alternator requires changing and a fault in the alternator is present. You can do this with a multi-meter, or remove it, then bring it to a place like Autozone and they will test it for free.
