front wheel is frozen on from weather. any solution?
do you think trying to punch the studs out of the brake disk will help? the f150 has
aluminum rims, 5 lug
If you mean the center of the wheel is stuck to the hub then get a dead blow hammer. put a couple of lug nuts back on (only a few threads) to prevent the wheel falling once it's unseated. Then using your dead blow hammer hit the sidewall of the tire from under the truck. It will come off - don't use anything but a deadblow though, the bounce back off the tire can be pretty severe. Also using the deadblow will lessen the chances of damaging the wheel if you happen to accidentally hit it. And the last cautionary item is to be sure your jackstands are clear of the path of the hammer on the rebound.
thanks, i'll have to find a heavier dead blow
