i have a 2002 ford f150 v8/4.6L . can i put a bigger v8 engine to replace it.
You don't say how much weight you want to pull. The F-150 can pull about 9000 lbs with no problem. I'm not sure if the 5.6 will fit your tranasmission but it would have the same factory towing limit.
The 5.4 was an option on your truck and would bolt in. Make sure that your engine control computer is compatible or get the correct one. The 5.4L engine has a lot more torque than the 4.6 which in my opinion is really just a car engine.
