Car starting but nothing electrical turns on.

Asked by Crispy13 Nov 19, 2016 at 01:42 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Sport Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Started the car this morning and the engine turned
over but couldn't put it in gear. No electrical
components turned on and ignition wouldn't
release the key. Had to pull out the key, disconnect
the battery, and pull out the ignition fuse. Got
check engine light a few days ago but it went away
on it's own.
