93 ford f150 domelight stays on when door closed

dome light stays on when the
door is closed pushed in the
switch seems to be working but
light still doesn't go off when
switch is pushed in

Is there a small switch on the dome light? Check for proper operation. Also, can the dome light be turned on via the dash dimmer control knob? Make sure it is not turned all the way which switches on the dome light.
