Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Truck will start run for a few minutes.
.When you drive about a mile and left off
the gas it dies. It will start back but won't
stay running, finally after restarting it will
stay running and you can rev it up but put
it in gear and it dies. Finally it will run. No
problems the rest of the time you're
driving it?? Fuel pump?

Howdy, have you checked the fuel filter to see if it is letting fuel past? If it looks fine and plenty of fuel to engine, try swapping out the filter if there are no codes being displayed on a reader.
We changed the filter. Seems like it does it in the first 30 minutes of running then as long as it's warm doesn't do it again.

Ok, has it been cold where you are to really challenge the air/flow mix sensors to "chill out" and retry? If it runs well when warm, sounds like a sensor or throttle body issue.. hope this is helpful.
Sorry haven't been able to log back in, It really doesn't matter if it hot or cold. You have to keep your foot on the brake to keep engine revved up, but if you let off it dies. then will hit and die repeatedly. When it finally starts you rev the motor for a while with smoke like it was flooded, then when you put it in drive it dies. Finally it will start back and go, Runs fine after that. Until it sits for 2-3 hrs and you start the process over.

Howdy, I'm in and out on this too...sorry, but it seems like it is a fuel mix or issue with it. If you can get your hands on another throttle body and try to see if it corrects problem, other than that I would have to say let a mechanic with Ford issues check it out. I'm kind of not being there and seeing/hearing the issue(s) and would just be guessing a lot. Not much help, but hope you have a Blessed Day!
