Rear wiper arm stuck

Asked by Mar 01, 2016 at 06:15 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Rear wiper arm won't come off after trying and
trying to get it off. Can I mess anything up trying to
hard? What can I do?

Ya you could do some damage prying on it hard. Are you pulling the wiper arm all the way back so you can evenly pull it up off the spline? And sometimes there may be a catch on the underneath side to release. Also sure there is no bolt holding it on, a cap to pry out in the center covering the bolt?

The problem is the arm broke off. I took the cap off and the bolt I needed to remove off the spline, but still stuck.

Just have to evenly pry up on it, maybe spray some penetrating oil in on it?

Boom! I used 2 flat screwdrivers and evenly popped it out! Thanks!
