Why won't my car start?

Asked by Guru95NYH6 Jan 10, 2021 at 01:48 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 cavalier with 2.2l ecotec. I've changed the oil
pressure sensor and reset the antitheft system. The car is
still not starting and the oil light is still on. Is there another
sensor somewhere?

Without the proper equipment you can't "reset" the security system yourself. Your local Chevrolet Dealer or a qualified locksmith has to diagnose and repair the system. The oil light will be on when the engine is not running. That's normal. Hope that helps! Jim
