Low RPM at start up

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Typically when I start the engine it will rev up until it hits operating temp. Sometimes when I start the engine there is no rev at all. It starts and runs at sub idle until it warms
up. Is there a sensor that controls the RPMs at start up ?

Yes there's a sensor. It responds to the ECU.

Tps,throttle position sensor,or could be crank sensor,all so.
