I replaced the heater/ac blower switch on my 95 Toyota T100 SR5. The system works but the switch does not stay in place. How do I get it to lock in place?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I pushed the switch up into position to engage the mount tabs and slid it
towards the rear of the truck. The switch does not stay in position. It slides
toward the front of the truck and falls out of position. How do I get ti lock into
position and stay in place?

There two clips the first one is at the front at the AC switch (button)the second is on the blower speed control. which is removed before you can push out the BSC to remove it. Sounds as if you are missing one or both of the clips OR have you put the three screws back in , at the "front of the A/C control panel assembly, before you replaced the finish panel? Hope this helps
