Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Where are spark plugs located on my 2003 Toyota
echo it is a four door car

1 Answer

3,395

Under the plastic engine cover and the coils. Remove plastic top cover and use a 10mm and remove the coil bolts. Gently unplug the coil connectors because they are very brittle from consistent heat. Also, torque the spark plugs exactly in all cars to avoid issues. Minimum spark plug torque on that car is 11 Ft. lbs and Maximum is 15 Ft. lbs.
