Hearing noise from front left wheel
2001 toyota corolla 125k milage.. was running nice 4 months back. when i first heard
the sound from front left wheel, replaced the bearing and problem solved for 1 month
and same noise again, so changed total hub and bearing. again after 1 month still noise
coming ( tak tak tak .... increasing up on speed 25mph) so this time my mechanic said
axle problem and he fixed it..after few weeks now im hearing the same freaking
whats wrong with this car...
Any help highly appreciated.
Your mechanic is over-torqueing the new wheel bearings causing early failure. They have to be torqued at factory specs and use a TIMKIN bearing not the one year warranty junk they sell.
Take it back Another bearing Sorry
