is it just the one side?

frequently the wire will flex...again...and again...and again until it makes no conductivity at all...test the wire harness or replace it would be my first "usual suspect"~

...okay I'm going to go out on a limb here and tell you that you've got insufficient ground....low amperage to the motor...so much so it will not run....what you must do is get a new battery because five is a grandpa with these new tin/antimony alloy batteries (no LEAD no mo) then with a coarse wirebrush undo the end of the black cable that attaches to the fender/chassis/ground and wirebrush the lug till shiny...and the chassis too so that three hundred cold cranking amps can get through (and the stinkin 12 amps the window motors are trying to draw)....put your ground right with a fresh battery and all should be smiles~ :)
