No gas

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced the battery in my car, I also had to
replace the alternator fuse, as it burned out. The car
now has power, but when you turn the car on, it
won't stay on and when you try and push the gas,
nothing happens and the radio don't work. Please
help!

My guess is that your vehicle is in the limp in mode. This usually requires a trip to the Toyota Dealer...or...a repair shop which has a Scan Tool capable of performing "Resets". You might be able to perform a "Manual" reset. Google...Make/Model/Year...Limp In Mode...reset. Get back with results.

Just had another thought. May I assume that Alt fuse replacement was a result of Battery Cables installation error.? There may be other fuses blown. Is the Check Engine Light ON/Flashing when the Engine is running? If YES...then we need to know what codes are stored in the Engine Computer(ECU). That is probably why this vehicle is in LM. Clearing the Codes may do the Trick.
