When in 4 wheel drive the dash light flashes. How come? When put in 4 wheel low dash light flashes 4 wheel high. How come?

flashes until drive actually is connected, sluggish respond, work switches while backing and neutral and forward , to get low you may need foot on brake,and neutral or park

I tried that and it still keeps flashing. I tried backing up and forward and drove on the snowy road at 40mph and it did not quit flashing.

Grand Vitaras are actuated by vacuum, so check the line from the diff center to the pump, mine done the same.
