where are the post under the hoodbto charge the battery of 2006 hhr

My car won't start.it started with my key got stuck in the ignition.

This has happened to me before. I have a 2009 and i know the battery is underneath the spare tire in the trunk i had to disconnect the battery before the key would come out.

The positive (+) lug is on the underhood fuse box. It has a big red + on it. For the negative (-) side clamp onto something metal on the engine that's not painted. HTH. -Jim
