Swap 2003 Baja engine for 2005 baja engine (ej255 for ej257)

What all will I have to do to swap out my old 2003
Baja engine to a newer 2004-2006 Baja engine?
Subaru used a different engine during those years,
but I can't quite tell the difference..

Get the wiring and computer with the donor engine.

if you are thinking of NOT going with stock engine your 2003 baja came with here is a review of the subaru engines that with work you could make happen. they are performance engines. fast. https://www.iwireservices.com/post/2017/11/08/what-is-the-ej20g-ej20k-ej205-br-the-iwire-guide-to-early-jdm-subaru-engines
