94 coupe antenna goes up and then goes down shutting off the radio while driving

replaced radio with new head unit,used metra harness keeping the Bose speakers setup
other than the annoying pop because of the amps ,the antenna runs up and down on its
own. Am I looking for a loose connection. everything seems tight. Thanks for any Help

Did you change out the antenna? There is a grounding plate under the fender that acts as a ground and it must be in place due to the body not being metal. Check that and if it is grounded properly. Also make sure the new radio is properly wired.
