What is causing my car to burn so much gas

tune up, pcv, egr, catalytic converters, air filter, injectors, MAF or intake air sensor, loss of overdrive or trans lockup clutch, dragging brakes/brake hoses, are just a few areas to check for bad MPG ratings.
