I'm putting in a receiver in my 03 pontiac grand am
gt what do i do with the pink, brown, gray wires. I
know the dark green wire is for the amp.

you'll need an adapter for original wires to plug into the new unit , it should come with a diagram , I think if you don't get a computer interface and chime you'll have to run the red wire from the new unit to an accessory spot on the fuse panel , a pro car stereo shop was very helpful for me

Which receiver? Aftermarket? Look it up online, brand/model and get the colors. Then look up the car on Alldata, at city library or junior college library. Get the colors/connector from there. You can get a plug to fit the car connector from Walmart or mobile electronics store. Then attach it to the receiver wires. Don't GUESS at anything. KNOW for sure, or DON'T comnect it. Car electronics blows up (permanently) when connected incorrectly.
