Front end bouncing

Why is my 2002 Pontiac Grand am gt
bouncing struts have been replaced and
wheel bearings also tie rods look fine when
you turn steering wheel back and forth there
is a light knocking noise the tires look fine
also what could be the problem

Try checking the mounting bolts for the Rack&Pinion unit. Did you replace the strut cartridges?or the entire assembly?Spring and all. If you only replaced cartridges,maybe the strut bearings on top are no good

Bouncing usually indicates a problem in the strut/spring assemblies. Are you sure the hardware used has been tightened properly and has not worked loose?
