Does everything need to be replaced in my serpentine system?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I believe I have a bad tensioner when I first start up my car & it warms up I
can hear a grinding sound coming from my serpentine belt system & I can see
the tensioner arm moving up & down.  I've read that to avoid further
complications that it is necessary to replace the whole system & I was
wondering if that was true & what exactly would be included?  I have already
bought parts to change the belt, belt tensioner pully assembly, & 2 idler pullys
& it seems to me that there is more than that.
