oil pan leak

Does a motor lock up on a 01 pontiac gt  if it out of oil because
à hole  in oilpan are they a saftey were tha5 want happen?

If an engine is running without oil and overheats, yes it can then seize up. Doesn't matter where the oil leaked out. So at this point, the engine need replacing.

No oil. No go. Do not pass Go, go straight to the repair shop and pay $5,000.
