Service Engine Soon Light
I have a 2001 Grand Am. It is always serviced and kept up. Today it did something
odd...as I came to a light, it idled like it wanted to cut off but it didn't. Then as I pulled into
work, the Service Engine Light flashed off and on a few times then went out. What could
Many different things. Since the light was one, you can pull the 4 digit codes to find out what tripped the light. Any mechanic or local auto parts stores can do this for you.
It usually means misfire or multiple misfire on the cylinders specialy when the check engine light flashes
is this an easy fix? That is always my main question...LOL...thanks!
1.- check your spark plug wires. they might be loose or worn out 2.- It could be the coils. but usually is the wires. Good luck. My email is email@example.com if you have any more questions
Ok...I have an appointment for a tune-up to change the plugs and wires...will I be ok until Saturday? That is the only day they have an appointment...Yikes!
