To get out of park, turn the ignition one "click" clockwise from the lock position. Step on the brake pedal and shift to neutral to start it. Sounds like the park/lock solenoid is bad. HTH. -Jim

Did not work, the car starts without a problem i was able to work around the shift being stuck by pushing the plastic switch next to the gear shift. This problem happend once before and then fixed itself a couple days later, although whats odd about it when this happens my ac blows out hot and i can feel the brakes stuck when im driving, almost as if the hand brake was on. And its driving me nuts! Any other suggestions?

I also have changed the brake pads, and rotors are fine
