2003 Grand Marquis Ls sputtering

2003 mercury grand marquis Ls 4.6. Vehicle started "jittering"
when accelerating. Oil pressure gauge bounces up and down and
at times dropped out completely. I changed the fuel filter, oil and
filter. Oil is filled to proper level. Also changed air filter. Vehicle still
shows same symptoms. Any idea what this could be? Anyone had
a similar experience? Possibly share your resolution?
