engine cooling fan smoking and burning smell..

Replace fan assembly and fan
motor? Want to avoid a trip to the
shop for repair..looking for guidance..

The fan motor is the most common failure in this case. It's likely that you'll have to get the motor and fan as an assembly.

Thanks for the reply.. Parts already ordered looks like a pretty straight forward fix..
