Be more specific. Are you talking about swapping the stock engine for a 1JZ or 2JZ? Or do you already have a TT setup and you want to switch to a single-turbo?

Supra would be a 2JZ-GTE. 1JZ was in the Soarer. There are different advantages/disadvantages to which engine you want to use. The 1JZ is usually found cheaper. If you're going the 2JZ route, there are some options. If you are lucky enough to find a USDM 2JZ, you're probably going to wind up paying quite a bit for it but they generate slightly more power due to better turbo components. As mentioned before, they are hard to find though. If you want a JDM 2JZ, you aren't going to pay as much as they are imported at a pretty steady rate. However, most JDM 2JZ's come from the Aristo and require modifications to the wiring harness and oil pan. Not too difficult though. Plenty of info at clublexus.com/forums.
